“We chose the Southern Circuit and under the guidance of Takims we visited Mikumi, Ruaha and Selous National Parks, all magical animal wonderlands - crowded with beautiful animals but, happily, not too many of us humans! Takims were suberb and organised everything perfectly and effortlessly. Our guide, Rajabu, was hugely knowledegable and nothing was too much trouble for him, we could not have been in better hands. All the accommodation was top class and right at the centre of the action - in both Ruaha and Selous we were lulled to sleep every night by the bellowing and grunting of the Hippos, which wallowed in the river right by our tent. “Takims Holidays helped us make yet another amazing, memorable safari trip. We traveled with the family over 5 days visiting Gibbs Farm (stunning!), Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw over 50 lions in 3 days! Our driver Harry was very knowledgeable - he shared insights into wildlife norms, local cultures and traditions, and drove the jeep with incredible control and expertise. Our reservations, and accommodations were excellent. Food was fresh, delicious, and sufficient for varying diets (when you have 3 generations traveling together, this is very helpful!). We made great memories, and got our fill of the raw, incredible beauty of African Safari.
